More on Niss

So Niss continues:
"You know, like when you believe that every thought you ever had can come true.  When you believe certain things are real, even though you can't see them or touch them."

And of course Charlie still doesn't get it.  So Niss continues.

"Like when you were a child," continued Niss.  "When you had your own make-believe world with names for things, names for your friends.  And you talked with them and they talked with you.  You talked over everything.  You told them things you would never tell anybody else.  And you could go away, go to places that you made up and they were as real as he air you breathed and you could go there whenever you wanted to and stay as long as you liked.  And it was your world.  It belonged to you.  Do you remember that?
And of course Charlie still doesn't get it.  So Niss continues.

"You see, your father and your grandfather well, they believed that their most private thoughts, their secret thoughts could come true.  They could be real, Charlie.  That's why they could see me.  That's why they could see the ...tower."

And of course Charlie still doesn't get it.  So Niss continues.
